Hello everyone, today's snowing here and makes a crazy cold, roll a wind that seems to be in Siberia! think I'm crazy, but I love this weather, I like to take a walk, all bundled up, including the weather, stuff that when I get home I have the frozen legs and nose all red. So I turn on the stove and begins to warm as it should be and at that point the desire to make something good come for sure. The other day after a walk to the freezing cold, for example, I ventured into this cake with apple and carrot, I must say without too much modesty that was really good, and lasted less than two days.
Here's the recipe.
Ingredients:
300 g of flour
120 g of sugar cane
80 g of butter
100 g fresh ricotta
2 glasses of milk
1 egg
1 grated apple
1 carrot grated
1 packet of yeast
Melt the butter with a glass of milk. Let cool.
Beat the egg with the ricotta and the remaining milk and add the butter at room temperature.
Add sugar to mixture and stir quickly, then add the flour and baking powder, mixing well. If the dough is too thick add 2 tablespoons of milk.
Finally add the apple and carrot, stir to standardize everything and pour into a cake tin greased and floured.
Bake in oven pre heated to 160 degrees for about ¾ of an hour.
E 'excellent freshly baked, but the next day for breakfast and it is even more for those who love the jams, I recommend it with a thin layer of plum jam.
Visto che siamo in tema di glaciazioni vi rimando alla bellissima Dryas octopetala come fiore del giorno, la pianta dei ghiacci perenni.
